Hallowell Press’ first book, Dark Diamonds, was launched by Annette Carmichael on Saturday August 25th at the Butter Factory Studios. Music by violists Jude Iddison and Marie Limondin (playing as Marmotte) accompanied readings from the book by Caroline Caddy, Virginia Jealous, Nicola-Jane le Breton, Catherine Mercer, Yann Toussaint and Tony Docherty (reading Andy Ducker’s ‘Epilogue’).
Book sales were brisk and advance orders substantial, but a limited number of copies of the book are still available at Butter Factory Studios or by contating the press directly(please see http://hallowellpress.com/ for details).
